I agree completely. Where we came from and what we've been through makes us what we are today. In addition, what we choose to do with the knowledge and gifts we've been given up to now will make us into who we are to become.
I've been through some very deep dark levels of hell. With God's grace and guidance (even though I couldn't see, feel or hear it much of the time) I've climbed back out to the light. Faith is the word of the day!
One thing I've discovered is its always in God's time. There is no way around that. Once I learned to accept that, for me, it relieved some of the darkness I would feel at the time. And having the unconditional faith to know, absolutely, that eventually this would pass, would give me the strength to keep pushing forward.
Unfortunately, it does take time. Be true to your feelings, allow and accept them. Even the ones you don't understand or may catch you off guard (those are the nasty ones!!) I would also allow them to pass through.
Keep me informed how you and your daughters are doing. You're all in my prayers.
Let me also know some nice and pleasant things that are happening in your lives. Those are many times the good things that help us through. By keeping those in the forfront, that can help a lot.
Hey Paul,
How are you doing? Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday.
I am so sorry to hear of the recent transition of your wife. But, of course, gather and offer strength with your children. I can only imagine the overwhelming change of life you're going through. I'm holding you and your daughters in perfect light and you're all in my prayers.
I cannot fully understand the process you're going through, but if you ever feel the need to talk, I've been told I'm a good listener.
All my best thoughts in peace, light and love,
Tym
Let the competition end and the collaboration begin.
